Collaboration with Saik Gonzalez and Yis Kid

About The Piece

It is intriguing to consider how lock-down has influenced people's behavior. Perhaps the very notion of being "trapped" can in fact morph us into something post-human. This shoot involved a Henry Galano body piece developed in the pandemic for Myth From The Mundane. The wearable sculpture was born in a time when isolation dominated the artist's psyche and is reflected in the materials used: hair clips and hair rollers. It is fascinating to examine how the domestic can be utilized to produce a dystopian entity

Henry would like to thank Schon, Saik Gonzlez and Yis Kid for this incredible opportunity to collaborate.
